Brand new to the CRA field...
I am currently working as a Project Assistant for a Clinical Research Organization. I have been in this position for 8 months. I received a four year Bachelor's degree in Anthropology/Sociology two years ago. I am very interested in pursuing a CRA I position. Would you say that I have enough "industry" experience? I've read many CRA job descriptions and the main qualifications are: monitoring experience. Seeing I do not have monitoring experience, but project management experience and a four year degree, is this enough?
I am trying to learn as much about the industry as I can, i.e. GCP guidelines and Federal Regulations, etc. Working as a Project Assistant has been eye-opening thus far, but the position does not offer the challenges I am looking for.
I appreciate the advice!
